Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean swallowed a dripping chunk of seal heart as hundreds of Inuit looked on!

What a sight for sore eye's! What a publicity whore! I've never liked her, now I like her far less!

Everyone NEEDS to band with the EU and BAN all Seal Products from Canada.

This cull must end NOW!

Man! are there ever some sick people in this world... Maybe someone should cut the heart out of her just because... Maybe feed it to a hungry seal...Why are people so cruel and think it is just fine...

Dieter and Marge, I disagree with you. Are the Inuit "sick" for having a traditional source of food that you find odd? Meat eaters do not consider it "cruel" to eat the flesh of animals. Man has done this for millenia.

The Governor General made a bold display of solidarity with a marginalized Canadian people. They seemed to appreciate the gesture.

I'm sorry, but it was nothing more than a precious photo op!

If you believe that she did that, for even a second, on her own, or would have done so without conveniently having the camera's around, well, then you need to know the woman a little better =)
